Arrival Story: Mom was looking for a cat to be a companion to Squirrel. Squirrel lost her littermate and best friend Lucky 3 weeks ago to what can only be described as a sudden heart attack. Her search took her to the SPCA, private homes and a new pet store that just opened. At the pet store, I was in the window with my sister. We were both sleeping. Mom didn't ask anything at the time and just left but remembered us. Mom kept looking but could not put us out of her mind. So, she went back today. My sister had found a new home, but not me. The lady running the new pet store said I was the last of a litter of kittens that her own Momma kitty had had. She could not explain my Siamese look as my Mom is a regular tabby and my Dad a black cat. Mom decided the search was over and took me home. I am now in the bathroom with toys and all my supplies waiting for Squirrel and I to get safely accustomed to each other without actually facing each other yet. I think I may have surprised my new Mom a bit by how active I already am. Oh, and I saw THE DOG! He is HUGE! I arched my back, fluffed up and hissed at him. I think the big brute likes me!
Bio: We think that, of all cats, Penny sent this one to us. Penny was wild and crazy and a handful. We think Kitcat will be just like that.
Kitcat loves crumpled up receipts. She carry them around the house and sometimes brings them to bed. The laser toy is another of her favorites.
Kitcat and Squirrel are getting along very well. Also, Kitcat and Lobo are best of friends. Kitcat lives her life just assuming that everyone loves her.
She is getting all the attention. So I grabbed some attention myself when I knocked down a photo in a frame and cracked the glass. Kelly gets attention for bad behaviour, why not me? Mom first ran over to clean up the glass so we would not get cut. Hard to do while controlling the stupid dog. Then she checked what photo it was. Not one of her fave's. Then she petted me and Squirrel who came over to see what had happened. Puppy got put in her kennel as she would not stay away from the glass shards.
