Arrival Story: About a year after my sweet Sally crossed the bridge, I was "just looking" at adoptable kitties on Petfinder. I came across Leo, Charlie's brother, and just fell in love. After some emails with the rescue organization, I went down to Tucson to meet Leo. Charlie was also there and the family that was going to adopt him had fallen through. He was adorable (of course) and I couldn't stand to separate them and leave Charlie behind. With lots of thought (and some support from Catster friends!) I made the decision to adopt Leo AND Charlie. They came home on June 13th, 2009.
Bio: When Charlie and Leo were about 2-3 weeks old, someone brought them into a vet's office in a shoebox. The vet couldn't take them and the person was headed to a local kill shelter to drop them off. A woman in the vet's waiting room offered to take them. She bottle fed them for 3 weeks and then they were taken in by their foster mother who provided loving care until they were ready to be adopted and come home with me!

This morning I blew my feisty tough guy cover. Mommy was sleeping and she woke up to somecat laying on top of her, kneading, purring, and drooling. She assumed it was Leo Lovebug because that's the kind of thing that he does.
She opened her eyes and saw...... ME!
That's right. I was cuddling and loving on mommy this morning!
I have a reputation in my family for being a feisty boy. I do lots of meowing, chasing, smacking, and biting. But deep down, I'm just a kitten!
Mommy's been working a lot the past couple of weeks. She tries to eat lunch at home with us and she usually works a couple of hours a day from home doing paperwork. But the last few weeks, she's been gone for longer stretches of the day.
I don't like it. I MISS her! I meow and meow at her when she gets home. Sometimes I act up, too. Tonight I climbed into the fireplace and knocked the fireplace candles over. Then I went to the night light in the hallway and tried to eat it! And then I chased Lucy up and down the stairs; she was grumbling about it the whole time but I think she secretly liked it! Mommy finally got the hint that I needed some extra attention and gave me some extra feather wand playtime.
Mommy says that once she wins the lottery, she won't have to go back to work. I can't wait!!!
I'm here to blow the whistle on a certain girlcat I know. My sister Lucy thinks she is perfect in many ways. However, she *stinks* at covering her business in the litterbox.
As the cat in charge, I've decided it's my job to make sure everycat's business is fully covered. As soon as I hear Lucy's telltale, manic litterbox scratchings, I come running. I wait patiently until she's finished, both doing her business and with her pathetic attempts to cover her business. She jumps out and I jump right in! Three right paws and a couple of left paws and a circle or two in the box and my job is done.
