Sleepypod Crash-Tests Its Pet Safety Restraints

When you bring your cat in the car, do you buckle her up? If you don’t, you should. Sleepypod recently crash-tested its entire line of pet safety restraints, including their cat-friendly carriers.

The tests were successfully conducted at the same standards as child safety restraint systems in the United States, Canada and Europe — a first for any pet product manufacturer.

The crash tests prevented a crash test pet from accelerating forward and leaving the test bench. Tests also showed that damaging forces were mitigated and rotation of the crash test pet was limited. To learn more, visit
