New Adoption Center Features For Catster And Dogster
Today we formally launched the brand new Catster Adoption Center as part of our great new relationship with 9Lives Cat Food. We hope you’ll love them and we hope you’ll let us know how we can make them better.
We completely upgraded and rewrote our adoption functionality. The big roll-out started on Catster today. We’ve joined forces with 9Lives to see that 1,000,000 cats are adopted by the end of 2008 and we’re committing our all to make it happen.

- A Shelter Local Listing page that now shows available pets
- An automatically created Group when a new shelter listing is added.
You can now see all types of relevant information like:
- Good with kids, dogs and/or cats
- Spayed or neutered
- Availability date
- Availability range
We’re still working on some last touches that will be available soon

- Letting any existing user create a profile for their shelter
- An easy tool to transfer a pet profile page from current guardian to new guardian
