First there were Hello Kitty café trucks, mini cafés and pop-ups, but now we’ve got the Grand Café, right near the Giant Wheel (yes, there’s a giant Ferris Wheel at an outdoor mall) at the Irvine Spectrum Center — one of my favorite outdoor malls in Southern California.

At the Grand Café, you and your fellow Hello Kitty fans can buy Hello Kitty-themed sweet treats and drinks to go or relax and enjoy in the seating area. But as a big tea fan, I can’t wait to try out the Bow Room — a too-cute pink oasis that hosts an afternoon tea or evening cocktail service.
Reservations are recommended for the Bow Room. Details online at sanrio.com.
