After drawing a tie in the CLASH OF CATS between Anne Rice‘s handsome Oberon and Christopher Rice‘s Cotton and Morgan, it seemed that all would be well in the land of Fair Oberon. In just a short time, the kitten grew into a majestic prince, commanding us all with his radiant elegance.

Yet Oberon’s rule as Cat of the Castle has come to an end. You know how it goes: One cat is good good, but two cats are better!

We’d like to introduce you to darling little Sugarplum, a sprite of a kitten who bears a striking resemblance to his older brother, Oberon.

But as you can see, as Anne prepares to let the two cats meet, Oberon is more than a little apprehensive.

“Is that a mirror you’re holding in your arms? Wait — that’s another cat! I don’t know about this. I’m gonna walk over here.”

“Hey, punk, I know we look a lot alike, but rest assured, you are no Oberon. What kind of a name is Sugarplum?”

“This is my cat castle! And don’t you forget it!”

“You smell weird.”

“You’re so vain. I bet you think this song is about you. Well, it isn’t!”

“I’m just gonna sit under this chair and sulk for a bit.”

Despite a rocky meeting, we bet the kitties will be cuddling and grooming each other in no time. Just watch.

What was it like when you introduced a new cat to your family?
