Texts from Mittens, strange confessions, and analysis of mind-boggling cat sleeping acrobatics: These are the odd workings of the mind of Angie Bailey, a writer who combines humor with her love of a cats and a poignant view of the world. She’s not afraid to don cat ears and imitate felines in repose in an effort to cure her insomnia. She shares her home with three cats, two teenagers, and her cat guy husband; Bailey’s musings on felines reveal more about our humanity, and her recent book, whiskerslist: the kitty classifieds, is the calumniation these revelations. Posing the sometimes bizarre requests and offers of Craigslist through the minds of cats, whiskerslist is hilarious, charming, and, at times, strangely insightful.
