Hey, dogs, get over it: You’re never going to be as cool as cats are. You’re big, you’re clumsy, and you always need someone to take you outside to use the bathroom. You see, cats have got it down: They conveniently use neat little boxes to do their business in; they’re graceful, agile, and capable of jumping extreme heights and landing on all four paws; and they’ve managed to trick us humans into serving them without having to perform tricks in return. Sorry, dogs. You may be man’s best friend, but cats are man’s masters.

Nothing makes this more evident than this amusing video of a pup trying to copycat a smooth feline. After a bit of a scuffle on the couch, the cat decides to calmly walk away and perch elegantly on a ledge. Not to be outdone, the dog attempts to join the posed kitty … and fails miserably at imitating any of the cat’s cool, calm, collected style. But nice try anyway!

You can almost hear the cat laughing quietly to himself as he watches the dog tumble to the floor.

“I told you so,” he probably said as the dog walked off with his tail between his legs.
