Cats — so cool, so calm, so collected. Carefully balancing on a narrow ledge, leaping extreme heights, squeezing under doors, almost always landing on their feet, and generally showing off. Yeah, it’s easy to be envious of felines. They’re capable of some pretty awesome stuff. But what about when a cat-attempt becomes a cat-fail?

Take this kitty, for instance. Curious about the bathtub, she balances on the edge, hoping to just dip her toes in the water. Well, you know what they say about curiosity and cats.

Fortunately, no cats were harmed in the capturing of this video — if you don’t count wounded pride, that is. Caught on tape too, for the whole Internet to see. Oops! We bet that the other half of this video is the cat sitting in the hallway, licking the excess water from her paws, and pretending that she meant to do that.

“Fall clumsily into the tub? Yeah, I meant to do that. I’m a comedian cat. It was purely for your amusement. See? I’m a comedic genius, because you’re laughing. And, uh, you’re laughing with me, right? Not at me? Yeah, I thought so.”
