5: The Community Cats Podcast – TNR

Be part of the solution for feral and stray cats in your neighborhood by checking out The Community Cats Podcast’s Neighborhood Cats Trapper Certification Webinar. Learn what TNR is and why it works. Expert instructors will teach you best practices for Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and colony management. Topics include: getting along with neighbors, preparations for trapping, the trapping itself, feeding and providing shelter. Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance and gain access to an ongoing Facebook group for networking with other TNR activists. The webinar takes place 11 a.m. to 1:30 pm PST and costs $10. Created by Doris Day and her Animal League as Spay Day USA in 1995, this annual event has grown to global proportions, resulting in the spay/neuter of millions of animals. You can help by supporting a spay/neuter program in your area, hosting your own fundraiser or talking to your community leaders to create a program in your town.
