Can Anyone Re-home Orangino in New York?
Orangino, a middle-aged orange and white tabby in the New York City area was recently given up by his family and is facing euthanasia. He needs a home (furever OR foster) immediately. This one’s a real love bug:
Orangino is a ball of pure love. I can also confirm that he was fine with other cats.
A VOLUNTEER WROTE: Orangino probably lived a happy life for most of his 8 years. This 10 pound lover was given up by his owner on 1/30 because they could no longer afford him. Orangino’s owners described him as a perfect cat- loves men, women, children, and other cats, too! Our vets say that this wonderful senior is NO CONCERN to handle at all, and one of our senior cat volunteers confirmed that he is a highly sociable boy. He loves being held in your arms and will happily stay there for as long as he possibly can. He’s a world class giver of headbutts, putting real enthusiasm into it. He also knows his name, and gets happy when called. He is an exceptional kitty in every way- but, because of his age he is missing many teeth, and will only be able to eat soft food. He also may have a bit of drool appear on his mouth sometimes- but it is hardly worth worrying about. If beauty truly lives on the inside, than Orangino is perfect just as he is. He’s a sweet cat, a real love and he’s going to make a lucky adopter very happy. Our vets say Orangino weighs 10 pounds.
UPDATE: As of Sunday evening, Orangino had been relocated to a foster home — the foster family loves him, and he’s very happy!!!
