Cougar Cubs Lead a Dog’s Life in Russia

The cougar kits above were born on July 15 at a Russian zoo, but the staff was wary of leaving them with parents who can become aggressive.

So the cubs were turned over to Cholli, a German shepherd with five puppies of her own. Cholli has cared for the cougar cubs as if they were her own puppies. And they’ve returned the favor by acting as Cholli’s designated neck warmers.
