Got My License!

Today my mom bought me a license! She works at a pet store, so she's been spoiling me with treats when she comes home. She's learned that I love tuna, salmon, seafood stew, duck, and chicken (that's probably in order of favorite too). For whatever reason, turkey doesn't taste so good, except in lunch meat form!

So today she came home with a purple heart tag that had my name on it and our phone number in case I would get lost one day. It's a little girly, not as girly as the pink ones, but the only male-oriented ones are bone-shaped and very dog-esque, so I don't mind. My mom constantly reminds me of how pretty I am anyway.

Grandma thinks I have a smoldering eye. Mom finds it funny, but Grandma really thinks I'd be able to get a queen by just "giving her the look". My mom thinks my size would more likely win them over. Either way, my foster brother Osiris has a new little sister, and she sure doesn't like me! She's a little flea compared to me, but it still makes visits a little stressful nowadays.

Back on topic, now I have three tags on my collar: the local shelter adoption tag, my rabies tag, and now my name tag! Still, my mom wants to get me microchipped next month just to be on the safe side. I'm also due for a third round of shots. I was very well-behaved during my visit last Sunday, so I'm not all that worried about the clinic.

Although, mom was worried I was running a fever after my shots, so she had the smart idea of giving me baby benedryl. I wasn't having any of that cherry-flavored medecine, I drooled it all out. I know I probably looked like a dog drooling like that, but I certainly wasn't swallowing!

Mom said when she went to Shop N' Save to get the benedryl she asked the pharmacist a few questions. Apparently he started referring to me as a human baby, and he thought my mom was one of those sixteen and pregnant cases! Mom set him straight that I wasn't a bald little meat-sack. She probably worded it a little more politely, but she still thought the pharmacist's opinion of her changed for the worse for whatever reason.
