What do you get when you cross Hello Kitty with one off-the-wall brand of footwear and apparel? The kawaii cat has once again teamed up with skateboarding stalwart Vans for an all-new, limited-edition line of kitty kicks and catty accessories for Hello Kitty fans of all ages.

Diehard fans will go gaga over the retro-inspired prints, which fit in purrfectly with Vans’ old-school aesthetic. The footwear collection includes sneakers, slip-ons, and one particularly swoon inducing high-top, which comes tricked out with a red Hello Kitty bow that can be detached and used as an accessory.

I’m also particularly fond of the Lo-Pro sneaker and its candy-colored hearts, bears, and kitty print. They remind me of just why I fell in love with the famous feline in the first place!

On the clothing-and-accessories end of the spectrum, fans can gear up for summer with Hello Kitty print tees, tanks, belts, and socks, or get ready to go back to school with a Hello Kitty backpack or fleece.

The Vans x Hello Kitty collection debuted on June 1 and is available at Vans retail stores, the Vans online store, and Vans dealers nationwide, as well as select Sanrio boutique stores and at www.sanrio.com.
