The way I see it, there are two kinds of feline fashionistas in this world: those who aren’t afraid to let their cat lady flags fly, and those who prefer to showcase their love in a more subtle way. Enter feline-friendly designer Rachel Antonoff and her Pocket Purr-fect Dress, a ModCloth exclusive.
The New York-based designer created the sleek plaid frock with a nipped waist and a distinctive cat-shaped pocket to help alert fellow cat lovers to your ailurophilia without shouting, “I am Catwoman, hear me roar!”
Antonoff clearly recognizes the power of kitty-cat chic. Last year, Bass Shoes employed a white kitten named Marshmallow to promote her eponymous line for the brand, and she also included a black cat model named Mr. Wendy in the presentation of her spring/summer 2012 collection.
