darn!Socks Giveaway

As part of a series of Earth Day giveaways this month, this week we’re giving away handmade cat toys from darn!Socks.

This is not the usual cheezy made-in-China crap. darn!Socks are old holey socks reincarnated as adorable catnip-filled mice. Theyre filled with a generous teaspoon of organic catnip, a small sheet of recycled crinkly plastic, 3 or 4 pistachio shells (for that perfect bone crunching sound), and recycled wool sweater lint. So, they’re not only green, but they have only the teeniest, tiniest carbon pawprint.

And darn!socks are not wimpy cat toys that disintegrate when the play gets tough. They can stand up to the most rambunctious of bunny kicks. Measuring 5 to 7 inches long (not including their shoelace tails) and 4 to 6 inches around their middles, they’re not dinky either!

All you kittehs will love the texture as well as all that catnippy goodness.
