Lauren Gard
Lauren Gard was born in suburban Philadelphia into a loving cat-owning family but all kitties were unfortunately (and tragically) out of the picture by the time she was five, at which point her parents brought home a small neurotic yappy dog who lived forever. Lauren adopted a pair of felines 20 years later as a journalist looking for something to take the edge off after a long day’s work (along with a bold red), and has never looked back.
