Probably all of the above, but I love them anyway!:)
All of the above with multicats lol
My Toby refuses to pee in the litter box so we keep puppy training pads just outside of the box which he uses. Plus when he does his other business actually in the box he runs from it not covering it at all. But with his disability Cerebellar Hypoplasia I'm just glad it isn't worse.
My lokki is a digging/kicking nut on the other hand and will send litter flying in every direction.
And one of the older cats (now gone sadly) was so big he would be in the box but every now and then would miss it entirely. We had to convert an old baby tub into a litter box for him so he'd have enough room. :)

we have multiple issues, because we have multiple cats. kaya is a dig to china and beyond kitty, then she leaves her gift without covering it. usually, rhymon will get in after her and cover it...thanks! (MOL) kaya also has a weird tendency to visit the litterbox just to say "hi" or something. scratches litter hell to breakfast, scratches the wall, the box, the shelf...then exits stage left without having actually DONE anything but get on my nerves scratching for fifteen minutes. no clue. she's just weird.
rhymon has a problem which isn't even alluded to in the poll-and it's a problem i could do without in a longhaired cat. she steps in poo. she gets it ground into her fur, and we then have to bathe her...which is a major trauma-drama.
jadyn still thinks the litterbox is also a playground, and tends to jump around in there like a mexican jumping bean on simmer for no apparent reason. hoping she grows out of this, it just doesn't seem sanitary. or particularly normal...

Dart will scrat at the area outside of the litterbox, in addition to the sand inside the box.
How about the Jackson Pollock Poop Pawty? I do that all the time.
hehe I am under "litterbox? whats that?" since I go outside , I've always done my business out there , too. We live in a very green neighborhood , lots of plants, bushes , trees and a million places to go potty. Mommy loves it cause they get all the benefits of having a cat without any negatives , namely , cleaning litterboxes and having to worry about those horrible problems and having to clean up stinky cat poo! She just relaxes and when they are on vacation , her cousin comes to let me out twice a day to do my business!!!!

I is stinky stinky stinky! They has air purifier by box, and scoop it all dee times... But I is amazingly talented.
I love to get in my cat litter tray and kick out the contents all over the upstairs landing. I love my cat litter tray that much that I will come in from outside and use it. I am that good at spreading the cat litter I can now get it stuck in my feet and all over my mum and dads bed :o)
I am living with CRF so I drink a lot, get fluids, and pee a lot. We have lots of litterboxes of various styles but I have a favorite pee box. Of course the other cats have to pee in it now and then too because it's the PEE BOX
Anyway, before mom gets home we've made it wet.
...aaaaand I have wet pee back feet.
So, I guess it's me having wet pee feet (occasionally tail) and I always put them on mommy before she can dry them and change the PEE BOX.

I am an OCD cat. I HAVE to cover my stuff by building a gigantic pile of litter on it. I leave 3/4 of the litter box spotless because of my OCD. Then mommy comes in and wreaks my masterpiece. Also, after I go, I sit at my bedroom door, (yes, I have my own room), and moan, staring at mommy until she gets up and cleans my box. Boy, I have her trained well.
I start out peeing in a squat, but sometimes, i finish by standing up and peeing back against the wall. So now we have puppy pads against the wall behind the litterbox.
srattering every were sand on the floor and stuff
If the box is not cleaned to my liking, I go somewhere else. I have chosen a spot by the bedroom door. Most of the time I just go scooting and try to bury "it" but the other day I left some poopies on the carpet!
Even though I wipe my feet on my litterbox mat, meowmy says I still track litter all over the house. My tail even picks up the litter cause I'm a tall dude. MOL!
I solved the litter box problem.(three boxes for four indoor/outdoor cats) by using two sections of newspaper laid in the box side by side. They do use the box and what a cinch to gather up the wet or soiled papers, stuff them into a newspaper sleeve or plastic bag and toss it out.
Another reason for using the newspaper is because it is such a crummy one, that's the best that it and the plastic delivery sleeve deserve. I'm just sorry that my reliable delivery person has to work for such a company......

utterly ridiculous!!!!
The worst one we've had actually happened tonight. Julius has a cone on, and accidentally got poo all over it. Then went to lie in mom's bed. Mom's not too pleased, but he didn't mean to do it. Poor guy.
I like to go get my mommy and tell her i have just pooped and wont leave her alone untill she comes and cleans my litter box for me :)
I dig, I dig, I dig, then I poop, then I dig, then I run and Mom can smell it 2 rooms away. Job well done!
Whenever he is scared, like when people come over he runs to his litterbox , lays down in it and waits till they are gone.
