I do try to brush them, as often as she'll allow it. I have a finger brush and also tooth wipes, which are easier. Maybe every month/six weeks
Teeth...she is all teeth and claws if I were to even try to brush her teeth she would tear me apart!
I feline flosses after every Pesto Pizza so no needza fur momma to wrestle with a tooth brush and me!
Mom can brush or swab my teeth a little, but I need to be on Clavamox 5 days once a month cause my gums/teeth are a problem. I also get dental cleanings. If a kitty is too old for anethstisia for cleanings and has bad teeth, they can be put on antibiotics too.

I tried and tried in vain to brush my Spencer's teeth, but untimately we discovered he had the condition Feline Lymphocytic Plasmacytic Stomatitis and he wound up having to have all his teeth removed. I switched him to wet food and he's now the happiest and most lovable cat in the world. He may look funy when he meows...but I still love him!
I take them to the vet to get it done. I've only done it once though. It's not cheap.
I'll brush the teeth of 4 cats just as soon as I have an irresistable death wish. Althea won't even let me swab her gums, and the 3 boys. . . impossible.
Um..my cats barely sit still long enough for me to brush their fur do you really think they'd let me brush they'd let me brush their teeth with out clawing me first lol.
