Animal Shelters 5366 Valley Road Berkley Springs, WV 25411 The Humane Society of Morgan County is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. The kennel has only 17 runs. A renovated mobile home serves as cattery and office. We accept owner-relinquished, stray, unwanted and abandoned animals as space allows. We have no euthanasia technician on staff and strive to give each animal every chance to be adopted. We encourage and support several spay/neuter programs in the community.
We receive no government funding and rely entirely on donations from individuals and businesses, fund raising, and grant monies. Donations are always needed and greatly appreciated. They may be given for general operations or can be earmarked for spay/neuter projects, care of a particular animal, or shelter maintenance or improvements.
