Feline NetworkRescue focuses on the plight of freely roaming homeless cats and kittens and feral cat colonies. Using foster homes to provide a safe and loving environment, abandoned, or homeless cats are introduced to the world of human kindness and respect. Once cats are vetted and socialized, they are made available for adoption to carefully selected homes to live out the rest of their lives in a loving environment. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. We do not "ship" cats and adopt out only to the metropolitan DC area at this time.

The puppies and dogs that are available for adoption from Pups2Luv have been rescued from high kill rate shelters up and down the East Coast, abandoned on the side of the road, dumped in the garbage, left behind when people moved, given up when the kids got tired of them, or became unwanted "property" in a divorce. Some people just didn't have enough time to give them, had to travel too much, or had to move to a smaller place. All of them would love to have a new home and family to care for them! All puppies and dogs are up-to-date on all shots, have been wormed, vet-checked and (if old enough) are on heartworm preventative. We only do rescues and adoptions for medium, large, and extra-large breed puppies. When space in our foster homes is available, we will also accept young adult dogs of these same breeds or mixes no older than 18 mos./2 yrs. old. We DO NOT ACCEPT Pit Bulls or Pit Bull mixes, or ANY dog that has bitten or shown aggression towards another dog, or any person under any circumstance. ALL rescue puppies/dogs in the state of Virginia are REQUIRED to be spayed or neutered by six months of age, or, if they are adults, must be spayed/neutered BEFORE adoption.
