Amazingly Caring Group of People

4PAWS is genuine. 97% of their yearly proceeds go back into the direct care of the cats - the rest is for printing marketing materials to keep their name out there in the community. It's an all volunteer group in the DC/MD/VA area and all work is done out of people's homes. The group has been around for years. The group is very honest in that the cats they adopt out are labeled appropriately should they have any issues with children, dogs, other cats, alpha tendencies and special needs. The best part is that they're no kill! They are truly a sanctuary for kitties...and if one is adopted out and doesn't work out, that owner is required to return the kitty to 4PAWS. The other cool thing is that they do actually check up on their adopted kitties. My Meowmie got a call about 3 - 4 months after she adopted me and answered quite a few questions about my personality, well being, etc. I would recommend them to anyone who needed a kitty! And one last thing - their CFC # Changed this year because the Gov't went with 5 digits...so it's now 34517.
