Although secluded, this camp area is close to major amenities and popular trails, and offer wide sweeping meadows (many times with wildlife), and 3 nearby waterfalls. There are restrooms, hot showers, a laundry, water, and a dump station as well. Dogs of all sizes are allowed for no additional fee. Dogs must be under owner's control, on no more than a 6 foot leash or securely crated, and cleaned up after at all times. Dogs are not to be left unattended. Dogs are not allowed on about 14 miles of the trails; please ask the attendant at the gate for a list of the trails. Dogs are not allowed in buildings. This rv park is closed during the offseason. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.

This is the smallest campground in the park and offers a quiet rustic setting. The 32 sites are on a first-come first-served basis, and flush toilets, coin showers, a laundry, and campstore are on site. Since the Appalachian Trail runs through this campground, hikers pitching a tent for the night are a common sight. Dogs of all sizes are allowed for no additional fee. Dogs must be under owner's control, on no more than a 6 foot leash or securely crated, and cleaned up after at all times. Dogs are not to be left unattended. This is the parks largest and southern-most camp area, and sitting atop a mountain at 3,400 feet it offers great panoramic views. There are 219 fairly secluded sites available on a 1st come 1st served basis and by reservation, and the camp area provides restrooms, showers, a laundry, picnic tables, fire grates, amphitheater, a camp store, dump station, and close by is a restaurant and gas station. Dogs of all sizes are allowed for no additional fee. Dogs must be under owner's control, on no more than a 6 foot leash or securely crated, and cleaned up after at all times. This is the closest camp area entering from the north, and it offers a nature trail, a hiking trail to the tallest waterfall in the park, and a seasonal wayside with a cafeteria, camp store, snack bar, and gift shop. There is also potable water and a dump station. Dogs of all sizes are allowed for no additional fee. Dogs must be under owner's control, on no more than a 6 foot leash or securely crated, and cleaned up after at all times. Dogs are not to be left unattended outside, or for more than an hour inside an RV. Dogs are not allowed on about 14 miles of the trails; please ask the attendant at the gate for a list of the trails.
