I was attacked by a dog.

Almost a year ago, I was attacked by a fosterdog in my home while mommy was out. Her brother was home, and managed to get the dog away from me. But I was in bad shape. I had some puncture wounds and was in shock. I had no color to me at all, and I had no control of my bowels. Mommy came home and started crying hysterically, and begged HER mommy to take us to the vet. It was about 6 or 7 pm on a saturday, and no one was open. So we went to Angel of Mercy. They rushed me back and put me in a bucket with oxygen to 'chill out'. They ruled that there was internal damage, and I could die at absolutely any second. X-rays were iffy- I could die while they were doing them, and by the time they developed and the doctors had a chance to look at them, I could die then, too. Mommy didn't want me to hurt anymore, so she went ahead and had them put me to sleep. She came back and saw me one more time. I wanted her to pick me up, but it would have hurt me if she had. I was in SO much pain... :'( AOM sent mommy a card about a week later. She really appreciated that. She misses me terribly, and I miss her too. AOM was really great about the whole thing, and emergency pet hospitals can be lifesavers. The staff were friendly and sympathetic. Thanks Angel of Mercy! We couldn't have asked for a better hospital.

If a cat has to be sick on "off hours," this is the place!

Not too many years ago, I was a very sick kitty ... urinary stones and not wanting to eat. But Angel of Mercy took very good care of me and re-hydrated me, letting my human mom back to check on me and stroke me and in a few days, I was back to feeling like a good kitty should! I got good care and soon felt like a new kitty and would recommend Angel of Mercy to any ailing felines and/or canines! If a kitty friend is sick, this is the place to be.
