Veterinarians & Specialists
Dr. Dana Crigger--Cat SpecialistOkay, so I poop in my box to protest every vet visit....but I still love Dr. Dana. Since she only sees cats, she's a specialist. The clinic is quiet without scary barking noises. It's clean. It smells nice. Nancy and Ellen are my favorite assistants. Most of all I love them for their compassion. (And because if I do poo in my box, they help clean me up.) Dr. Dana is level headed and thorough. She won't try to charge you for needless tests and procedures like some places do. When I got hyperthyroid she took great care of me. When Karma's kidneys failed Dr. Dana worked real hard to help her. But there's only so much you can do sometimes and Dr. Dana was honest and compassionate about it. When it was time for Karma to go to the bridge she cleared out the schedule so no other patients were around and Mommy and Daddy had the privacy to say goodbye and grieve. Karma was handled with dignity and Dr. Dana's staff made all the arrangements for her cremation with a trusted local company. It was a sad time for all, but Dr. Dana and the staff couldn't have been more compassionate. When Mommy was looking for a new kitty they gave lots of advice. And when the new kitten, Mr. Echo came down with ringworm Dr. Dana went the extra mile to find an affordable compounding pharmacy for his medicine. The office is located right off 75, so if you're anywhere in the McKinney, Allen, Frisco, or Plano area this is still an easy place to get to.
