“TxTailwaggers is an all breed (pure and mixed) Dog Rescue in Lewisville and Highland Village, TX. Our goal is to provide help for dogs in situations that put them in danger whether that is a stray or lost or found or in a shelter or another type of situation that is not best for their welfare. All of our animals are kept in foster homes in family environments and receive necessary vaccinations, medications, spay and neuter, HW preventative and micro chipping before adoption. All applicants are screened, references checked and Vet checks and home visits done before adoption. Because of follow up we only adopt in near driving distance of the north Dallas area. We also provide educational information about dog and cat welfare to people who need it. One of our founders coordinates events and assists in (reputable) Rescue Group cooperation and participation in events in our area. Texas Tailwaggers is also a member of the Rescue Friends Coalition and help to provide education to the public in a once a month 1/2 page ad in the Dallas Morning News Classified Pets Section. www.rescuefriends.org Volunteers also assist in Rescue transport when possible, if it is in the North Dallas, Frisco, Plano, The Colony, Little Elm, Carrollton, Coppell, Grapevine, Flower Mound, Lewisville, Highland Village, Corinth, Hickory Creek, Lake Dallas, Denton areas (more or less).”
