Campgrounds 11450 Park Road 5 Canyon, TX 79015 This scenic, historical, and geologically rich park is known as the Grand Canyon of Texas. It's diverse habitats allow for an abundant variety of flora and fauna, and recreational pursuits. The park closes the gates at 5 pm in winter and 10 pm in summer, so you must call ahead if you are coming to the campground for the first time and are going to arrive after the gates close. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended, they must have current rabies and shot records, be on no more than a 6 foot leash, and be cleaned up after. Dogs are not allowed in buildings, but they may be on the trails. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground.
