“This park is on Town Lake, just below Tom Miller Dam, and is the entry point for the Redbud Trail. A peninsula surrounded by lake it is a great place for water dogs. The whole park is leash free! Great park, and a must see, but not terribly large. Poop disposal bags and trash cans are placed in several locations throughout the park.”
Parking and Theft at RBFirst off we love this park, by far the best park in town... Now on to some issues. There have been at least 4 car break ins in the past month. All have been committed against female drivers who tuck their purses underneath their car seats. All have had their windows smashed in and purses grabbed. So be aware and on guard of anyone suspicious, also it's probably best to take your purse with you. This week the police were writing parking tickets to anyone parked against a red curb. what sucks is how few parking spaces there are given the popularity of the park. Not much advice except sit and wait for a spot to open up. One last thing, if your dog has any aggression issues please keep them under control. Enjoy the park and be sure to pick up your poop! |
love it here, except it isn't my Bull Creek parkWe started coming here when Bull Creek dried up ( boo). Momma tells me she's fighting to keep Bull Creek open for me and my brothers because it's only a short walk from my house. Wish we could go all the time. Red Bud Rules!! favorite parkwhat an idiot i am to have not gone here sooner! this is officially my new favorite park and it's also moonpie's favorite. he loses his mind there. there's water everywhere and it's soooo very pretty! |
