ATA was founded in May of 1993 by concerned citizens desiring to help lost, abused and abandoned animals in Austin and surrounding counties. ATA is made up of staff and volunteers from all walks of life that contribute widely-varied skills, but are united by one common interest ---the welfare of the animals. ”
