The Humane Society of Lincoln County is a non-profit 501 (3) (c). Our mission is to operate the animal shelter, reduce the overpopulation of cats and dogs,educate the local population on responsible pet ownership and seek justice for animal crulety offenders and ensure the proper and humane treatment of all animals. Adopting Pets from Our Shelter The cost for adopting a pet at the shelter is $75.00 - $150.00 for all cats, male and female and all dogs, male and female. This fee contributes to the cost of spaying/neutering, and a rabies shot. All of our adoptee's must be spayed or neutered, and recieve a rabies shot, per Tennessee State Law 44-17-502 . If you are interested in any of our animals please call the Shelter first to be sure the animal is still available.
