“Emergency, after hours pet care. Hours: 8pm-8am weekdays; 6pmFriday-8am Monday; and holidays.”
Not the bestMy dog was in a near coma. Not moving and eyes barely open. We waited over an hour and half to see vet for them to tell me she was dehydrated. The woman vet on duty was very rude as I insisted something else was wrong. So they gave her fluids and sent her home. I took Zoey to my vet the next day and they had to perform an emergency surgery to removed an obstruction from her intestines. My vet had told me to prepare for the worst. Needless to say....This vet emergency clinic is not one i would recommend. Charge youover $100 just to see the vet. |
Emergency CareWe have used EVC for emergencies and have had good experiences, considering that the reason we are there is usually quite stressful. We think the doctors are competent. They are also affiliated with Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialists. This is the only local emergency clinic in our area. They are open only during evening, weekend, and holiday hours when regular vet offices are closed. posted: February 22nd, 2007 |
