helpful and informative

I wanted to help a feral cat in my neighborhood, and after finding this organization on the web I emailed them. They called me back promptly and put me in touch with an organization that performs sterilization surgery for a trap, neuter, return program. They offered to put me in touch with others to help me, gave advice for trapping the cat, and offered to send someone to trap the cat if I couldn't manage it myself. Very informative in promoting no-kill policies. They also offer education and support to foster cat families.

The ACDC Has Great Volunteers!

I have adopted from other local rescue groups with disasterous results. The ACDC utilizes a foster system where the pet is placed in a temporary foster home and is cared for and socialized in a family-type setting. The fosters truly love their pets and work with the adopting family to make the transition as easy for everyone as possible. They also offer follow-up support for the animals and family. It is an amazing experience!
