Founded in July of 2000, we are a nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection of all animals through education and awareness. Since one of our main concerns is pet overpopulation, we have created a low cost spay/neuter program. Please call Gloria for more information at (717)272-6466. In addition, we have also created a children's educational program to teach children how to take care of their pets and respect all animals. This program is suitable for scout troups, schools, youth groups, etc. If you would like to arrange this program for your group, please call Gloria at (717)272-6466. In the past seven years, we have found homes for 1098 cats and kittens. Some of our other accomplishments include the purchase of a police cruiser insert for the South Lebanon Township police dog. We have also purchased cages for a local fire company. This will help them to keep pets safe when rescued at the scene of a fire or other accident. We sent a donation to the New York City ASPCA for their 9-11 Animal Fund. Also, a donation was sent to the Harrisburg police dog that was shot in the line of duty. Even though our group is rather new,our founding members had worked together in the past. We have accomplished many things in a short time. One of our long term goals is to operate a no kill shelter.
