food to satisfy even my tender tummy!I am Pixie, I am ten and a half years old, and I have always had trouble digesting my food. Half of it comes right back up, if you know what I mean. My vet said it was nothing to worry about because I'm healthy, but still it's not very pleasant for Mama or me. Well, Mama went to Superior Pet the other month and said she was interested in feeding all of us something different. She was scared of all the pet food recalls for the big brands, and she didn't even trust the brand the vet recommended anymore. She told them about my tummy, as well as the needs of the other cats in our house. Without being judgmental about what we had been eating - a big plus, in Mama's eyes, since she was trying all along to do what is best for us! - the staff lady recommended 2 kinds of food and gave Mama some samples for us to try. Well, we liked both kinds of food, so Mama bought some of each. I still throw up the first kind a lot, but the other kind - Eagle Pack - I tolerate very well! Mama thinks it's because there's no corn at all in it - maybe I have a corn intolerance. At any rate, she tries to make sure I eat that only, while the other cats have a buffet of both kinds of food. My point is, Superior Pet's knowledge, and the offering of higher-quality foods than are available at supermarkets or big-box pet stores, sure helped me. They also will do special orders, and their prices are reasonable - some of their food brands actually cost LESS in bulk than the big-name food we formerly were eating. They also carry premade raw frozen food for cats or dogs who might want to try that sort of diet. 5 paws up! |
