“Pet friendly hotel.”
Love this placeMy sisters got to go here last year. This year, Raven is gone, but the rest of us got to go. Hotel Monaco doesn't have any problem at all with three big dogs staying in the room. I got a free massage at happy hour one night (Zoey doesn't like massage, and Timber didn't like how loud the piano music was). We all loved taking turns napping on the kings-sized bed (and they don't insult pups by requiring doggie sheets. We can lie right on the white comforter!). The nearest potty is 2 LONG blocks away, and there's just landscape bark and ivy there. 5 blocks will get you to a long lovely park heading to the Pearl District or, in another direction, to the waterfront. Portland is a VERY dog friendly city--we can even ride in the Pedi-cabs and on the streetcar. |
Hotel MonacoWe stayed here with our pug, Pygar. It's very pet friendly. They even post your dog's name in the lobby and provide a gift bag and food and water bowls. Easy to take a stroll to the riverfront, or downtown shopping district. The rooms all have sitting areas and separate bedrooms. The decor is a bit self-conciously fun for my taste but the beds are luxurious. Portland is a very dog friendly city and Pygar was welcomed in shops everywhere except a downtown mall. |
