Amazing VetsI have 2 golden retrievers and shortly after we first moved to OKC one developed a "bump" on his nose. I took him to Ranchwood and the vet tried to tell me that his nose was simply depigmenting. After a week it more than doubled in size and I asked Vera at CBW-Moore for a recommendation on where to take him and she suggested Boyer. We saw Ron and he was wonderful, took time explaining what it was and our options. He removed it the following week told me it likely wasn't cancer, but he could send it for testing if I wanted to be sure (I did and it wasn't). That was our first experience and since we've been back for regular visits and Ron and Jeff have been wonderful everytime. I absolutely love them and so do our dogs. Yes you do need to schedule an appointment a week ahead, but they always run on schedule I never wait more than 5 minutes for them to see my dogs after we arrive. In the few emergencies we have had (ear infection and hot spots) I can drop my dog off in the morning and they will see him/her when they have a spare moment and Ron or Jeff (whoever sees them) will call personally and let me know diagnosis/treatment. I highly recommend Boyer. |
Beware! They are a great vet, but only if you have an appt. One of my parents cats got really sick and started throwing up, they tried to take her to boyer and they turned her away because they didnt have an appt, and they told my parents that the cat was being a hypochondriac. It turns out that the cat had quilting thread wrapped around its tongue, and the thread had to be surgically removed. It happened again just this week with my husband's parents, their dog was extremely dehydrated and couldnt walk and they wouldn't look at him. Turns out he has kidney failure and isnt expected to live past a couple days. SO BEWARE!!!!!! posted: February 22nd, 20072 out of 2 pets found this review helpful |
