The Dog Park features a spacious 2/3rd acre fenced lot bordering the Metroparks. It has a gravel surface and five majestic trees that provide shade in the summer. There are two double gated entrances, located on either end of the park, for dog safety. A water fountain is provided with a human-sized spout and a fountain, with a stainless steel bucket liner, at the right height for pups (though water is turned off during the winter season). There are 5 Dog Waste Bag stations positioned around the park and there are two pooper scooper rake/pans located near each double gated entrance. There is ample seating with 19 benches located through out the park. There is also a large information kiosk placed west of the entrance gate near the street, please check it when you visit for updates and information regarding the dog park and local events. There are now also 4 Hand Sanitizers to be found around the park.
