“Here at South Shore Animal Hospital we are conveniently open seven days a week so that we can be available should an emergency should arise. Please call to make an appointment that is convenient for you. Of course, if you have an emergency, just come right in.

At South Shore Animal Hospital we are proud to be members of The American Animal Hospital Association. This means we are voluntarily inspected in over 1,000 criteria, including continuing education, medical record-keeping, pain management, diagnostic equipment, surgery, dentistry and facility safety, to name just a few evaluated areas.

To support you and your new furry friend, South Animal Hospital is offering clients (and new clients) a complimentary exam for any pet that has been adopted from the Animal Care and Control of New York, the Babylon Shelter, or the Islip Shelter.

Feel free to ask any questions that you may have about the health and well-being of your new pet. We are here to help both you and your pet have a smooth transition into his or her forever home.”
