Veterinarians & Specialists
23 Somerton St
Rochester, NY 14607
Cats & Critters is a full service veterinary hospital, staffed by veterinarians, licensed veterinary technicians (LVTs), animal care assistants, and customer service representatives. Located off Park Avenue in Rochester, NY, we are part of Monroe Veterinary Associates, who also offer a 24-hour emergency center, Animal Emergency Service, and a veterinary specialty referral practice, Veterinary Specialists of Rochester, for more complex cases.

The focus at Cats & Critters is on providing quality and compassionate veterinary care for cats, small mammals and exotic pets. We limit our practice to feline medicine, feline surgery, and small mammal medicine and surgery. Some of the exotic small mammals that we care for include rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, rats, prairie dogs, sugar gliders, and degus.

A fundamental part of our job is to educate our clients about proper pet management practices, behavioral issues, preventative medicine and disease processes. We believe the best approach to disease is to prevent it. As this is not always possible, early intervention when problems set in is crucial.

Our primary goal at Cats & Critters is to maintain good quality of life. We offer a clean, warm, family-like environment where every animal is cared for as if they were our own. Stop in and see us! We look forward to meeting you!
