Veterinarians & Specialists
Excellent service alwaysI don't often write reviews, but just occasionally I think that someone or some firm deserves to be highlighted. We moved over from England with two cats and a dog. The medical care (and the fuss!) they have all got from Dr Perez and his incredibly helpful and pleasant staff has been exemplary. In particular, he has managed to solve a mouth ulcer problem with one of my cats that no-one else has ever been able to get on top of. Dr Perez also runs a boarding kennel/cattery, and our animals always stay there when possible. I know they will be more than just kept safe, but looked after physically and emotionally. Sometimes I wonder whether they really want to come back home! We are leaving to go back to England and one of the many reasons we will miss New York is the knowledge that such an excellent and caring vets practice is so nearby. Thanks you to all the staff there from myself, my husband, and my menagerie! Spike's Mom |
They Cut Our Cat's WhiskersI must say, I have been to this vet before and felt as though service was enough for me to come back again. Unfortunately, I won't be doing it again. We recently brought our long-haired cat in to get groomed since it is now the summer time and getting warmer. When we got him back, we noticed that his whiskers were cut to about an inch long. When I confronted the vet and his staff, the only thing they could tell us was that they have someone come in on Mondays to groom the animals and that they did not see the animal before it left. In fact, they said that four times. I was looking for a reason, possibly even sympathy and for them to recognize an error in their service. But all they repeated was that they did not see what the cat looked like before it left. As if to say that we were lying and cut the whiskers. My understanding is that cats need their whiskers to help judge the sizes and spaces around them. By cutting them down, he is completely disoriented. My recommendation is to go somewhere else |
