phenominal store!They carry all the really good stuff and are very professional. No sales gimmicks, etc. And although it was very full in the store, I did not have to wait in line to pay. So much better than Petland, Petco and all the other chains. Good job, guys. |
One of the best place for plants besides mine. :PThe most distinguish thing about this place is the plants. As a retailer, they probably has the most variety of water plants in NYC other than me(I am not retailer-I grow them as a hobby to trade with other hobbists). The price of their plants may be higher than Petlxxd Discount but are usually healthier and has a lot more to choose from. Once a while you can find rare species due to the fact that they do import on their own rather than just relying on the domestic wholesaler. They been around more than 15 years-may be even over 20 years. I still remembered that my very first batch of super size(bigger than a human palm) discus I got for breeding purposes comes from them when they are still on the other side of Delancey street. They know what they are doing. You won't be disappointed. |
Im addicted!Ive recently started keeping goldfish. I love this shop. They have a huge selection, theyre reasonable and the staff is very nice. They also have a good selection of cichlids and tropicals. |
