“This is a great place to take your dog walking. There are two glacial lakes that are just beautiful! There are numerous paths which surround the lakes, and little waste baggies and trash bins are easily accessible. The view is gorgeous, and campsites are also available. The golf course is beautiful, as well as challenging. ”

Green Lakes

I forgot to mention in the above listing that dog owners are very friendly at Green Lakes State Park! People are always trying to talk to me and pet me when I'm walking the trails with mommy and daddy! If I'm afraid of another doggy, there is plenty of room on the trails so that I can keep on walking without having to be social. Although I never have a problem with the big dogs because they are the most fun for me to play with, or tease! Also, if I get too tired on my walks, I can always sit on one of the benches with my mommy (she uses those benches around every turn)! I have also seen many doggies in strollers, especially the tiny ones like myself! Our legs have to work extra hard to keep up with the humans! We need that extra help sometimes. The paths provide enough of a smooth surface that the strollers are easily maneuverable. Have fun!

Great doggie-friendly place!

Two amazing lakes with turquoise colored water. Great hiking trails all around. Lots of shade and dog clean-up stations. We had a total blast.
