A Little Disappointed...
Duncan had a cold since we got him. He was a just baby and we were worried for him so of course we took him the vet. When we adopted him we were also told he would need some shots as any growing kitten would! We took Duncan to the vet...I wasn't thrilled with the atmosphere of the Vet or the attitude towards my new kittens. It seemed like they could care less. When I asked about what shots they would need...I never got a clear answer. A simple...bring him in once his cold was gone would have sufficed. But no... I was also told to bring him back with his sister for her visit if he hadn't gotten better in a week. When I was going to pay for the visit I realized they had charged me $20 just to say..."yup he's still sick, why did you bring him?" Unbelievable. This was a different doctor...I also asked her about the shots...she had nothing concrete to say either. The facility is old looking as well. Not very modern at all. However...they did give me some medicine for his cold...it took him over three weeks to fight it. Poor thing was sneezing all the time! But Overall, I wasn't impressed with the staff or how my kittens were treated. I'll be looking for a new vet. I've just moved to H-borough and am tempted to drive my kittens 40 minutes to my old vet just so I know they are going to be taken care of.posted: May 28th, 2007
