“HELP was incorporated in 1996 and was initially run out of volunteers' homes. We received non-profit status in 1998. We provided rescue/foster/adoption programs and treated these animals like our own pets. In 1995 we got an old vet's office for our actual shelter. HELP is a no kill shelter and the only time we would euthanize an animal is when the vet says there is absolutely nothing left to do and the animal is suffering. We work hard to place animals into permanent homes. Without paid staff, HELP relies on its all-volunteer network of caring individuals to carry out our mission. We survive on donations and grants from great organizations. "Our clients are homeless animals...we hope to be out of business someday" ”

These are wonderful people

These are wonderful people. If you can you have to visit their cat santuary in downtown Belton. My mom loves to go in there and just pet all of the cats...
