“Exit on 28th Ave S from Hwy 62 and turn south. The dog park is at the end of the road on your right. It consists of 80 acres owned by the Metropolitan Airport Commission. The property is not entirely fenced in. No permit required, but there are no services provided. Owners must pick up after their dogs and take it with them for disposal off park grounds. ”
Lots of room to runBest minneapolis area park so far. Lots of room for me and my brother to run and run. I get to meet lots of people and he can catch his tennis balls. The other parks here are small in comparison and i have been attacked at the lake of the isles twice. Here i dont have to worry about crowds and me and my bro can do our own thing without ever worrying about running into other dogs if we dont want to. |
Great place for most dogsI love to chase a ball, and this park has lots of open space to run, there are some trees for shade and my dad can meet other nice people while walking the perimeter. That being said, if you're the type of dog that likes to mix it up with another dog, be prepared to get your clock cleaned by a big, tough dog with a mom or dad who doesn't care what their boy or girl does. This is especially true in the main social area. You'll see the group of dogs playing rough by the gate. As for me, I just chase the ball, and sniff a few butts, I don't wrestle, so I have no worries. |
MSP dogpark is a good place to hang out!I have been here with my human two times now. It is so fabulous! The humans are kind and I usually can find a real friend here to wrestle with or do a little mouth fencing. Being a puppy I need a place to run and this is it. Have your human bring your own bags and water. |
