“Dog park is adjacent to soccer field between Lake of the Isles Parkway and Lake St. on the south end of Lake of the Isles. (W. 28th St. becomes Lake of the Isles Parkway.) One entrance to the dog park on Lake of the Isles parkway. Street parking only. ”
Our Winter ParkMy Mom always brought me here in the winter time, because it was easier to get around for human feets. I liked it a lot, and learned the command "tunnel" by running through the big hollow log. It's a nice setting, and there's a separate place for the little guys, too. It wasn't the busiest park we'd go to, but because of it's smaller size, it seemed crowded and busy some times. |
Fun!This is my park when my mom won't take me to Minnehaha. I always find friends to play with and the people are nice enough to pet me too. Lots of room to play fetch. Not only are the water bowls frequently filled, but tennis balls are often left for others to play with. |
Lake of the Isles off leash ParkThis is the closest off leash park near me. I like to go early morning or later and avoid the busiest times because once in awhile I have noticed some pups "truly run free" and their humans are oblivious to doggie etiquette and are more inclined to chat with other humans than really pay attention. It is a nice stop during our walks around the lakes. |
