“Voted 3rd best dog park in the nation!!!”
This is a great park!
For anyone that wants to take their dogs to play after work, this park has lighting. It is fully fenced with an extra play area for small dogs. The pond does get kind of gross in the summer, but across the parking lot is a hose to rinse off your wet dog (just make sure it is running before you let your dog play in the water). You do need to have your dog licensed and you need to purchase a permit, but one permit covers any dog you bring with you and it only costs $20 a year. So far everyone we have met there has been really nice and most of the dogs are well socialized and enjoy the activities.
Burnsville Dog park
Hunter loves going to this dog park. There is tons of things to do there. They have a pond to swim in, trails and lots of space to run around and be crazy. There is a pavillion that has water for the dogs and a table to sit at, it is also heated in the winter. Most people there are cordial and there are many regulars, so you get to meet new people. The only downside to this park is the pond is sometimes quite green and the actual park is located on the opposite side of the entrance, so it is a walk. This park is not handicapped accesable but they do have a smaller area for sick/elderly/small dogs or puppies.
