Don't buy from here

This store may look clean and inviting to the untrained eye, but take a closer look. Upon, closer notation you will find that the animals are like "rats in a lab cage." These animals are not happy. For example, I bought a couple of quaker parrots from this place and one has passed on. So, you might have a 50/50 chance of survival. The 1st quaker was 2yrs and the second was 3yrs; apparently this pet store couldn't sell them for $600 so they cut the price in half to get rid of them in order to get more birds. ((YES THE MANAGER TOLD ME THAT)) This pet store had my quakers in small cages, with one parakeet size toy, and nothing to do. I acted upon the price cut and it was too good to be true because the 3yr old died last month. After having him 6 months and then his sudden death, I have decided to take the other to get extensive blood tests done. There is no question about neglect of some sort. I even went back to see if they received any new birds...I feel sorry for the baby Timneh that is there, he is chewing his feathers to death. This bird arrived not too long after I purchased my quakers. Since, then he has begun to hate hands probably due to the fact that people poke at him and pester him. He never used to bite. I wish someone would save the birds there!!! The employees do not have any avian husbandry knowledge whatsoever!
