“Described as "tiny but cozy corner bar." Would have been a neighborhood dive in a different decade; now, it's a great place for wine and bottled beer (only a few beers on tap).”

Good place for pups and peeps to get a drink!I enjoy this small, quiet bar, and even defer to Higgins, the pub-owning pup, when I'm in there. I can go in with my peeps and lie on the rug while they have a drink. We tend to go early enough that it's quiet and virtually empty; as it gets later, Idle Hour tends to fill up. No TVs, no juke box (the bartender has an old stereo for music). The peeps like the wine and bottled beer selections; there are only a few beers on tap. No food is served. Dogs are welcome. |
