The Best

At current count, between the 3 of us combined, we have been to 6 vets total. None of them came close to comparing with Mass Animal Medical (we also used them when they were Brighton). When several other vets advised us to euthanize Sophia they were able to successfully treat her many medical conditions for years. They were knowledgeable, compassionate, and incredibly understanding of Mommy's financial situation as a full time student. We always saw Dr. Allemand and Mommy has actually come to consider her a friend....Mommy was really sad when we moved BUT Dr Allemand has still taken the time on occasion to do research for us and to consult with our current vet so she can help Mommy make good decisions for us. One of Mommy's favorite things about her is the fact that she has always been willing to do research on our conditions, but then has explained it as simply as possible to Mommy and helped her to make good decisions without pressuring her to spend tons of money. We've had two cats with unusual conditions which she treated successfully. She does have to say though that the vet techs can be pretty disorganized which gets annoying.

Don't go here!

I saw a vet here a few times, but then my mom found a new one. The one here was not very gentle with me, and my mom said the vet talked to her like she was an idiot. They made us wait a very long time, and we had to go back because they forgot to run some tests on me. I'm so glad my mom found a new vet at Fresh Pond Animal Hospital!

Brighton Animal Hospital moved in December 2006 to a new location in Watertown, MA. Their web site has the new address. My healing person is here. I do not like my healing person very much but I don't see her very often anyways. My Human consults with the healing person on the phone to discuss my diabetes.
